What is Bhoo kanoon

 In Uttarakhand, there is a law called "Bhu-Kanoon" that control who can buy land and how much they can buy. But right now, people from other places can buy as much land as they want in Uttarakhand, without any limits. This is causing many problems. People from outside are buying land for cheap, and this is changing the way of life for the local people, like what they eat, wear, and how they live.

The Chief Minister (Pushkar Singh Dhami)  of Uttarakhand wants to bring back the old laws to stop this from happening. These laws will make sure that outsiders can't buy too much land, so that the culture and way of life in Uttarakhand can stay the same, and local people won't lose their land and culture.

Haldwani Violence 

In Banbhoolpura there were some illegal buildings mosques which were being demolished by the government ,Angry outsiders who were claiming that they were they live there, including women, in large numbers descended on the streets to protest the action as the demolition of the two structures began. They were seen breaking barricades and arguing with the police personnel engaged in the demolition exercise.

As a bulldozer razed the madrasa and the mosque, mobs hurled stones at the police personnel, municipal corporation workers and journalists, leaving over 60 people injured.

When the violence and riots got out of control government started shoot at sight order and 6 rioters were killed.
